The property is used as a Wildlife Refuge and Nature Center. We are continuously working to improve the habitat. We hope to lead by example and promote, encourage, and educate the community on wise management practices. These practices will include improvements for forest stand productivity, wildlife habitat, watershed protection, outdoor recreation, and aesthetic value.

The nature center is located at 9585 Roberts Rd. between Bradley and Gregory Rd. in Iosco Township. (North side of the road)

Open Daily Daylight – Dark You are welcome to fish in the pond near the front entrance. It is a catch and release pond. Use the walking trails for hiking or cross-country skiing.

Fun Family Field Day – 2026

Fun Family Field Day will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Nature Center at 9585 Roberts Road in Gregory from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Come and enjoy this educational field day and learn from the experts. There will be catch and release fishing (we will have poles and bait for you to use), hayrides, scavenger hunt, Archery shooting range, and educational booths.

This is a free, fun, family event. Dress for the weather – the event will be held, rain or shine. Bring your own cameras and a smile! From 11:30am to 1:00pm we will have a hot dog lunch available free of charge from the Conservation District.
